Aaron Extra

Emma Samms, Fallon #2 off Dynasty.
Kidnapped by aliens at the end of a season, then it was never mentioned in the next season. Cool.

Talking as a 'laydee' - those jumpers were called 'batwings' and they were all the rage, I tell you. Check out the shoulder pads.

Emma Samms looks a bit like Laura Palmer in that top pic.

'Batwings' eh? Learn something every day.
The top pic is from a Samms / Heather Locklear TV movie called 'Illusions'.

Molly, Molly, Molly...

...is it any wonder I get no work done?!

OK, a quick ten, followed by the sound of me slapping my forehead and going "How could I have forgotten...?"

Where Eagles Dare
The Conversation
The Silence of the Lambs
Blade Runner
Most of John Williams' work
The First of the Few (specifically 'Spitfire Prelude and Fugue')
The Magnificent Seven
The Godfather
Aliens
Flash Gordon (for the big stupid grin it always leaves on my face!)

1. Blood Simple
2. 2001 - respect to Ligeti RIP
3. Blade Runner - incl Demis Roussos' finest moment!
4. The Thing - there's loads of great stuff on the album that never made it into the film
5. The Billion Dollar Brain
6. Assault on P. 13 - so glad Carpenter didn't let them use it on the tossy remake.
7. Taxi Driver
8. Exorcist 2 - crap film, ace Morricone soundtrack
9. Nosferatu (Herzog)
10. Deep End - can't remember anything about the film, but it had Can's 'Mother Sky' in it. Wicked!

By the way, where's that quote from under the title?

Dominic Zero said...

The quote's from 'The Fly' - the original.
Will go off & do my top 10 now...

Dominic Zero said...

Molly - you haven't pissed me off at all. Love doing lists.
Very pasted last night & I do believe I was reacting to a spelling mistake which was pointed out rather pointlessly.
