Oh god...now this is spooky...I was about to post this picture on my blog...psychic meltdown...
Did you see the one where he was snuffling that man? He was always snuffling. Much better than that Lassie wuss. There was far too much trying to communicate with Lassie. Rebel was in there...with his snuffling, pushing, grabbing, executing of his role. Good on ya rebel.
He’s a rebel and he’ll never ever be any good He’s a rebel ‘cause he never ever does What he should And just because he doesn’t do what Everybody else does That’s no reason why I can’t give him all my love
I've got the original vinyl 7 inch of 'White Horses' - are you jealous? Actually Rob Crusoe is very poignant and brings a lump to my throat. I might have to track down as many links as I can to these tracks. Twin Peaks is wonderful too. You both have great taste. Oooh, oooh. OOOOOOOH! I'm excited now. High Chaparral. Class, class, CLASSSSS!
You lot cheer me up, you do.
I think I'll have to give you one hundred new shiny new pennies. I played 'Champion' to my form this afo and they just looked at me as if I was mad.
1. Twin Peaks. 2. Six Million Dollar Man. (Sigh) 3. Champion the Wonder Horse 4. White Horses 5. Rent a ghost 6. Knight Rider 7. Rockford Files 8. Red Hang Gang 9. The Tomorrow People 10. Different Strokes *What you talkin' bout Kimberley?*- what more do you need with lyrics like these:
Now, the world don't move to the beat of just one drum, What might be right for you, may not be right for some. A man is born, he's a man of means. Then along come two, they got nothing but their jeans.
But they got, Diff'rent Strokes. It takes, Diff'rent Strokes. It takes, Diff'rent Strokes to move the world.
Everybody's got a special kind of story Everybody finds a way to shine, It don't matter that you got not alot So what, They'll have theirs, and you'll have yours, and I'll have mine. And together we'll be fine....
Because it takes, Diff'rent Strokes to move the world. Yes it does. It takes, Diff'rent Strokes to move the world.
Joe 90 Ulysses 21 The New Avengers The Water Margin Jamie And The Magic Torch Monkey The Superstars The Prisoner The sad piano bit in the Hulk The Day of The Triffids
Molly: Cool! I love the Diff'rent Strokes thing. All three kids ended up fucked, dead or in jail. Doppledude: What's Ulysses 21? Not familiar with that. And The Water Margin- Inspired. I also crazily forgot The Virginian, which is one of the best.
Yeah - I know all the words to The Water Margin..... the singing bit mind, not just that 'who's to know if the snake may become a dragon'rap part....
Can't find an mp3 anywhere on the interweb though...
Ulysses (ok it was 31 not 21) was a crap space cartoon with a brilliant theme.... Basically it went Ulysseeeeeeeeeeeess ... NO-ONE ELSE CAN DO THE THINGS THAT YOU DO!!! You've got it now ain't you? It's on that tv creme site (see Molly's link...)

He’s a rebel and he’ll never ever be any good
He’s a rebel ‘cause he never ever does
What he should
And just because he doesn’t do what
Everybody else does
That’s no reason why
I can’t give him all my love
I'll give you 50 whole new pence if you put up your favourite theme tunes. Top 10.
More thought would probably bring others to mind, but here are ten to start with, in no particular order:
The Prisoner
Banana Splits
White Horses
The Protectors
Thunderbirds
Adventures of Robinson Crusoe
Follyfoot
Batman
The Sweeney
UFO
...what do you mean, I'm showing my age?!
In no particular order:
UFO
The Protectors
High Chaparral
Twin Peaks
The Persuaders
Joe 90
Department S
White Horses
Angel
I Spy.
Anyone else?
...and how I could have forgotten 'Mission: Impossible' is beyond me...
I know - it's the pressure. I left out Johnny Staccato.
