Lost It

Finally caught up with Lost last night (I refuse to post pictures due to the Mooseness of the women and the Twatness of the men).
Jesus..someone got killed...oh, it's a non-entity that nobody's ever seen before. How cutting edge. I thought all the extras had been laid off, or moved to another part of the island.
I presume this was an attempt to make up for the two - two - previous cop-outs on bumping off a main character.
And then they killed off Evil Bloke as soon as they caught him. What are they thinking? It's Uber-Crap.
This is such lame stuff that I'm veering towards The Heaven & Earth Show as a dramatic alternative.

like you - I too thought lost to be a load of old bolox (or maybe even botox) - then using the latest in broad-band technology - I downloaded episodes 15-24 of Series 1 - Episodes 00-05 of Series 2 - watched them non-stop in an zombie-like-trance - now I actually think I am on the island - living down in that concrete undergound chamber - pressing keys (oops plot-spoiler warning - too damn late!!)

A moist Evangeline Lily is not to be sniffed at I reckon. Each to their own though.

Oh man, I'm not sure I could cope with that, watching it hour at a time (hour? Who am I kidding? 4 ad breaks!) is bad enough.

She's so bland it's untrue.
The thing with Lost is by the time anything does actually happen I can't see who's giving a shit.
The whole thing is so badly written and ridden with cliches it's actually quite fascinating I suppose.
Alot of people seem to be going on about 'how it gets good later on'.
Hmm.
Just a thought, but maybe having, I dunno, SOMETHING happen in the first 15 episodes might've helped.

Dom's right. You're better off watching "Hogan knows Best"...far stranger, sinister, fucked-up etc...better scripted too.

yep - agree - it is indeed somewhat lacking in both plot, character-development and indeed anything of interest - but trust me - submit yourself to an intensive session - with assorted stimulants - and it all becomes clear - as indeed does this lame-attempt blare-witch-style internet reality attachment : http://www.thehansofoundation.org/

mind you I did watch the whole thing with the sound-off and that evil first hawkwind lp on repeat play - so what do I know ?

Exactly right Kek, Lost has the atmosphere of a dark, sinister episode of 'Last Of The Summer Wine'.
And yes, it's far better with no sound, I watched it that way and imagined everyone was plotting to kick the shit out of the doctor bloke.
