I feel really bad about not getting around to see Die Hard 4.0 at the pictures. Been too busy. I've let myself down, I've let Niowulf down & most importantly I've let Bruce Willis down.The only place it's still playing round here is Ilfracombe - but that would be like a real life experience of the Snow White scene from Gremlins. I'm not a snob but I have to draw the line somewhere.
I'm now considering a Bruce top ten as some kind of penance.

Actually saw it the other day, my pirate mate gave me a copy, and enjoyed it rather more than I thought I was going to. Good old skool action stuff with proper stunts, and it goes along at a fair old whack. The bad guy is a bit crap, though, and it all gets very silly towards the end. Still, better than the last one.
I liked #3. I can't see this one being bad...as Bruce Willis has Never Made A Bad Film.

It took me years to get "Hudson Hawk." It is a work of twisted genius. It's sooo wrong.
Actually, you may be right there. Only saw it once and I was pissed off my tits.
I like "Hudson Hawk" more every time I see it - it's a glorious White Elephant of a film like (the original) "Casino Royale", or "What's New Pussy-Cat?" etc.
Just watched a bit of "Last Boy-Scout" on telly - that's an underrated film - very tight; very well written.
'Last Boy Scout' is just fantastic. It has some great Shane Black one-liners: 'Where you been?' - 'Not sure but I think I fucked a squirrel to death last night.'
Will have to check out 'Hudson Hawk' again.
Gotta love Bruce.
Mercury Rising is great. Another of the genre "The bad guys piss you off so much that you can't wait for Bruce to take them out, preferably with a gut shot"
