Found this in a charity shop today. Never heard of it but it absolutely needed to be bought due to the cover. Bizarrely it has no blurb on the back or inside, it just starts, so I have no way of knowing anything about it..short of actually reading it.

There's a whole series of these Dr. Nikola books Domster. Did you know he was around in the 1890s. How cool is that?He was basically this writer who liked to write about occultism and characters that went all out for world domination.That's different to world 'Dominiczsterisation'. :P

I think I'm having a bit of a 'Thompson's Local phone directory*' over him on the cover though. Yummers. Do you reckon he looks a bit like Sherlock Holmes there? Jeremy Brett, I mean.

I yield to no man in my admiration of Jeremy Brett's Holmes ... although who would've thought Kenneth Williams was the definite screen Sherlock?
My favourite Holmes is actually Peter Cook.
