Grizzly

One of the great post Jaws movies. Found this for 10p today..been looking for the film for years, but the book is a good alternative. Gut-crunching, man-eating terror at its finest.
Heard Kenneth Bulmer has passed on - a great pulp / science fiction master who'll be sorely missed - more over on Kidshirt.

"Grizzly" is a great film, for those who haven't seen it...one of a handful of 70's Nature Runs Riot films that followed in the wake of Jaws...and the Damon Packard 'remix' of the film is pretty damn funny too.....

Now I want to see it even more.
Somebody re-release it..they're releasing everything else seeing as it only costs 20p to make a fucking dvd.

I'll do you a copy of Packard's version when I finally get round to getting a DVD-burner....

It was done by Bill Girdler, who also did other Nature Gone Mad films like "Day of The Animals" and "The Manitou"....He also did "Abby" aka "Black Exorcist", and, er, "Three on a Meathook"...a great exploitation director who died tragically young, but left a splendid CV behind him.

'Manitou' - yeah! That's another one that has never been re-released. Not PC enough apparently.
