Pause For An Ego Moment

Turns out I might well be on Points Of View this Sunday. I have asked them to edit out my gimp-style limping. Of course, they might edit me out all together. I would.

Oooooh. I'm going to be watching. Do you get to speak? That is brilliant.

Apparently lots of people have been complaining about the new News on BBC - too much standing up.
Anyway, they were filming away during the news the other day. I did my best to look busy.

Oh, that's lovely. I can't wait. I always find those background flurries great. I'm more interested in those than the News!

Too much standing up??? Ha ha ha!

You get two, yes two references in my poem today. And the Big Hair...well...you asked for it. 'Tis all mine. I'm sorry it's not bigger. I didn't have time to 'tease' it! Ha ha ha. My hubby kept asking me why he had to take a picture of my hair. Big Hair rules!

PS - I hope you don't mind me getting on your comment boxes. Please tell me to go away and I will...promise. And that goes for anyone else who I'm annoying...sorryx

I'm going to be in Film Four advert soon, walking through Trafalgar Square with Charlie (the person, not the class-A), while Judi Dench dressed as a lobster, and Ewan Mcgregor dressed as a tomato hand out leaflets. No I haven't been eating those funny mushrooms again. It happened! And Kevin Spacey was directing it, being really queeny and shouting at people for taking photos. His career must be on the rocks.

Molly - Keep commenting as much as you like.
Dude - Don't come on my Blog & out TV me. Kevin Spacey indeed. I was personal friends with him months ago.

I can't believe I'm in the company of TV heroes! This is not fair. I want to be on TV!!! Sulk.

Shall I flash at the World Cup?

By all means, Molly. I’m sure it would be delightful in and of itself, and it HAS to be better than listening to people who can somehow get three or more syllables out of the word ‘England’.

Or is that not a popular opinion…?!

Works for me, JC.

I'm not going to be on TV any time soon that I'm aware of. After Westward stopped boadcasting TV ceased to exist for me. In Yeovil, we put brightly painted cardboard boxes on our heads and do icoclastic inti-celebrity Dadaist noise-rants.

You could flash at the World Cup, but I won't be watching. I sincerely hope England get dumped out in Round 1.
I haven't met anyone famous today, although I am at work.
as I said before: TV Is Shit.

Molly Bloom said...

I won't be watching it either but it might be more interesting than the football. Sorry Loki...you said that you don't trust anyone who doesn't like footie...

Right, I better get myself ready for it then. Look out for a long-haired pale white goddess in amongst the hairy legged monsters!!

I do have one TV appearance under my belt...it is a minor part in a very famous series, episode 34 and you can see it on the web now. But...I'm a bit embarrassed to share it. I think the flashing would be more impressive.

Still...the best ever thing my Nan told me was that she was one of the Nuns in 'Black Narcissus'. How cool is that? I was so impressed. And she lived next door to Emily from 'Bagpuss' - she said that their house was just the same inside as the Bagpuss house. And my dad played a bit part in 'The Invisible Man' because he lived just round the corner to the studios at Borehamwood. I thought that was marvellous. If only he'd been in 'Blood Beach' and I could really impress you.

I tell you, it's the starry heights..it really is. Move over Molly Sugden. Move over Metal Mickey. Move over Beryl Reid.

Sorry, I meant that I wouldn't be watching the football and that the flashing would be more interesting. That came out all wrong.

Dominic Zero said...

Black Narcissus? Bagpuss? That's Uber-Cool.
And was it the David McCallum Invisible Man? Because that would really be a hat-trick.

Molly Bloom said...

Yes it was.

Molly Bloom said...

Do you have to work weekends? I hope not...

Dominic Zero said...

Oh, yeah. Working tomorrow at 6am doing the Marr show.

Molly Bloom said...

Oh lordi....that sucks.

Molly Bloom said...

Roll on 6.25. I can't wait!

Dominic Zero said...

It's 5.25!

Molly Bloom said...

oops...5.25!

Watercooler moment! Watercooler moment! I'm not sure if you were on or not. Were you the one who was staring intently at your computer screen/blog? There were also about three people sitting down in a row....

But, no-one limping...

And...dunno...maybe I've had too much wine...but...I'm sure there was someone asleep on a bed at one point....covered in white sheets..is someone not very well at your workplace?? Or was it Natasha Kerplunk having a nap?

Dominic Zero said...

Edited Out. As predicted. Although my foot & arm got in.

Molly Bloom said...

Oh damn....I was really looking forward to that as well. Still, you can come and be in my super-hero story instead...much better. Next time I'm on TV, I'll drag you lot with me...

Still, it was good to get an arm and a leg in than nowt at all chuck. I'm still impressedxx
