Walking through Oxford Circus tube on my way to work this morning - there was a busker playing The Killing Moon - how very cool. Makes a change from all the Oasis / Simon & Garfucknel / Beatles I'm used to being subjected to.
Didn't give the fucker any money though.

At Tottenham Court Road last week, I saw an advertisement (I forget who for...so it didn't work) and the idea was that the busker stood in front of it and it LOOKED A BIT LIKE A STAGE - how's that for corporate encroachment on our environment?
Will we be ironically contextualising all of the druggy dossers who kip in that tunnel that leads to the toilets next?
Yeah, most of the underground buskers these days are 'authorised' so they're 'better'. They perform in designated areas.
Probably another K Livingstone 'improvement'. Somebody should kill the fucker before he kills us all.
