Wild West

Well, as inspired by Molly's recent Horror Top 10, here's my pictorial Top 10 Westerns: The Professionals (1966)
The Magnificent Seven (1960)
The Outlaw Josey Wales (1976)
The Big Country (1958)

The Wild Bunch (1969)
The Searchers (1956)
Tombstone (1993)
Fort Apache (1948)
For A Few Dollars More (1965)
Shane (1953)

Rio Bravo (1959)

Ok, it's my top 11 really, I just couldn't knock one off.
Tell me what they all are / tell me your top 10 - I'm sure I'll think of some cool present.

The Hills Have Eyes

Finally saw The Hills Have Eyes remake the other day. Not bad at all. V Intense. It strangely stays close to the original for a while, goes off in a completely different direction in the middle, then veers back to a copy at the end. Still, it's pretty damn good really & it's Wes Craven approved, so that's good enough for me..
The girl from Lost (above), meets someone who's obviously watched both seasons.
Have I mentioned how much I fucking hate Lost recently?

Just Bad Etiquette

The curse of Diff'rent Strokes. Little Arnold (top), didn't die when he was supposed to (he had no liver or something & wasn't expected to live beyond about 18), sued his parents for all the money they'd ripped him off for, then wound up as a security guard. A few years back he got sued himself for allegedly attacking a middle aged woman in front of her kid when she hassled him for an autograph.
Todd Bridges (above) who played Willis, was sent down after being found guilty of armed robbery when he held up a liquer store....

...and Kimberly (Dana Plato), well lil' Kimberly got herself addicted to smack, went to jail for robbing a video store with a pellet gun, was bailed out by Wayne Newton, went back to jail for forging Valium prescriptions, went in and out of rehab, became a hard-core porn star, came out as a lesbian, the died of a drug overdose in 1999. Her death was eventually ruled as a suicide but her fiance was never completely ruled out of the investigation.
Conrad Bain, who played the dad, is just fine.

Pez Heroes

In the States they've got a whole 'Hero' series. I only got these two, but there's like a fireman & a cop and they've all got these ace square jaws.

Boba Fett Farm Part One

Ah, Bisset

Just got in, a bit sauced after an evening with Webb, and The Deep is on. How fucking important is that? Probably the best film featuring a moray eel ever.

Aaron Extra

Emma Samms, Fallon #2 off Dynasty.
Kidnapped by aliens at the end of a season, then it was never mentioned in the next season. Cool.

Stef

The great Stefanie Powers, let's face it The Girl From U.N.C.L.E. was a tad better than Hart To Hart anyway.

Aaron Tribute Fluffathon Part 1

May as well start with my favourite Aaron Spelling show - T J Hooker. That bloke on the left was in Time Tunnel. Cool.
David Caruso was once in T J Hooker. So there.

And my favourite Spelling Fluff - Cheryl Ladd. THE best Angel.

Melrose Place Uber-Fluff Courtney Thorne-Smith & Heather Locklear.

And here's the Melrose Place Fluff Fullhouse.

Satan's School For Girls - fantastic '70s TV movie starring Kate Jackson & Cheryl Ladd that Spelling had remade a few years back with no less than Shannon Doherty.

Before I go on, I would like to point out that I can't find a decent picture of Stefanie Powers in Hart To Hart, so I may have to just post a Girl From U.N.C.L.E. shot instead at some point.

Aaron Tribute Fluffathon Part 2

Victoria Principal was in the first episode of Fantasy Island..the series known as Dark Spelling.

Charlie's Angels - Fluff chained together.

And there was Beverly Hills 9023345699 where Shannen Doherty (left) and Jennie Garth (above) hung out with Uber-Dog Tori Spelling (not pictured for Ugly reasons).
Doherty was sacked (and then she was sacked from Charmed).
Tori, bless her, is already deeply into a family feud over who gets Spelling's cash.

And let us not forget the Fluff Fest that was Dynasty.

Amen.

Aaron Spelling - Genius. Simple as that.

Funny how things just get turned around sometimes.

Righteous Guns & Rubber

Underworld: Evolution. Not bad, really. Better than the first one. More to the point they do keep Beckinsale in rubber for the whole thing. Again. On that level it really works.

Hold My Hand Grenade

The Amazing Cattle - Hold My Hand Grenade. The first official album, available now at all good basement flats in South West London.

The Only Thing I Ever Fucking Won

As Kidshirt & I were discussing Julian Cope over on his Blog, thought I'd post the Copey 'Sunspots' car I won from Smash Hits around '87. It was just as 'Fried' came out, so I don't think anyone else entered.

X Men 3

Spoiler Alert.

Saw X-Men: Last Stand yesterday. Not bad at all, some really good set pieces and more meat on the plot. Halle Berry's hair has definately improved. It has a kind of blue hue. Nice.
My only problems with it really were the waste of Juggernaut (Vinnie Jones is fine..but don't let him speak), and the half-assed discarding of Cyclops. Ok, they never made much of him in the previous movies, but still, it is Scott Summers. Might want to make a little bit more of killing him.
Otherwise, though, it rocks. Kelsey Grammar is ace.

He's only small, but he is The Rhino. Groovy. Very tired. Me go bed now.

Pause For An Ego Moment

Turns out I might well be on Points Of View this Sunday. I have asked them to edit out my gimp-style limping. Of course, they might edit me out all together. I would.

Pictures From Den

Reformed smoker Wheatly sent me these pix from his travels - apparently the shark sign is outside his front door in Sydney.
The Stardust is by far the coolest hotel/casino on the Vegas strip. It's kind of old school, not gimmicky. It's pretty much just a hotel/casino.
I once won $500 in one night there. Ah, I want to be there now. Las Vegas is just the best place on Earth.

Help Needed

Well, now. There's three films on Ebay that I NEED at the moment, but I can only afford one - so I'll be needing advice on which to go for:

Blood Beach.

The Blob (the fantastic 80's remake).

Double Tap ( the Heather Locklear as an undercover heroin-addicted cop in leather trousers movie).

In all fairness though, if I go for Double Tap I'll have to hide it from Mrs Zero for the rest of my natural life. But that's okay, there's plenty of other stuff that'll need to be hidden.

All suggestions welcome.

Hopefully, all going well & Mrs Zero doing the difficult Adobe Photoshop stuff for me, the second The Amazing Cattle album should be finished early next week. It's called 'Perfume River'.
I can't imagine this interests anyone but me, but it's my blog & I read it too.
