Stamps

Big thanks to JC for getting his Americana mate Valerie to send me & Mrs Zero these ultra-cool US stamps. Valerie sent them as a late wedding present, which is just excellent.

Books

Now, I didn't know Edge & Adam Steele did books together. Cool. With a Tony Masero cover too.

Top Ten Screen Villains

As seems to be becoming a second job..here's another Top Ten for you to exercise your brains over. Have fun.

Agent Smith (Hugo Weaving) - The Matrix Revolutions (2003).

Papa Jupiter (James Whitworth) - The Hills Have Eyes (1977).

Selina Kyle/Catwoman (Michelle Pfieffer) - Batman Returns (1992).

Max Cady (Robert Mitchum) - Cape Fear (1962).

White Warlord (Frank Doubleday) - Assault On Precinct 13 (1976).

Reno Smith (Robert Ryan) - Bad Day At Black Rock (1958).

T-1000 (Robert Patrick) - Terminator 2: Judgement Day (1991).

Captain Hank Quinlan (Orson Welles) - Touch Of Evil (1958).

Mr Joshua (Gary Busey) - Lethal Weapon (1997).

Major Paul Kruger (Robert Vaughn) - The Bridge At Remagen (1969).

Well, there you are. Now some of you may wonder why Boba Fett isn't up there. I dunno, either I don't think he's a villain - he's just doing his job - or I forgot.
Anyway, tell me the films & either the actor's name or the character's name. Or just tell me your top ten. Or don't.
Coming soon...Top Ten TV Fluff.

I was gonna post my top ten Screen Villains tonight, but I can't be fucked, so here's Pamela Anderson.

The Undertaker

I'm after these if you see any out in The World. Written by the guy who did the Edge series.

Black Widow ll

David Hasselhoff

On Monday I managed to get hold of The Hoffmeister's autograph. Unfortunately I didn't get to meet him, he was doing BBC Breakfast and luckily I knew the floor manager in there. According to her he was really nice & stank of booze at 8.30 in the morning.
Excellent.
I would have preferred to have slipped him a Baywatch book, but they're all in storage.
I'm so happy I could go out and get Trashed. In fact, I think I may.
Hail The Hoff.

Top Ten Super-Villains

Here I go again. Remember - with Super-Villains usually you just have to say what you see. Bird Man (One Of The Unholy Three)

The Vulture

MODOK (Mental Organism Designed Only for Killing)

Silver Samurai

Swarm (He's Made Of Fucking Bees) aka 'Mister Buzzy'

The Beetle

The Absorbing Man (Crusher Creel)

Scorpion

Whirlwind (Formally The Human Top)

Madame Hydra -( Now Known As Viper) Married To Wolverine

I know, I know - they're all Marvel. But that's what I was brought up on. Once again - have a go at naming them all, give me your own top ten, whatever you feel comfortable with. You know it makes sense.

Gaze Into The Fist Of Dredd

One of my favourite Dredd panels ever.

Yet Another Top Ten

Well, as requested, here's my top ten movies (excluding westerns). They're pretty easy to guess, but then I'm incredibly shallow. I'm already trying to come up with another genre to go quiz on, so watch this space.

Dawn Of The Dead (2004)

Aliens (1986)

Se7en (1995)

The Matrix (1999)

The Birds (1963)

Die Hard (1988)

Jaws(1975)

Manhunter (1986)

The Thing (1982)

The Killers (1964)

There you go, knock yourselves out.

Mickey Spillane

Mickey Spillane died yesterday. RIP a true pulper. When asked how fast he wrote he said: 'It depends on how much money I need.'

The Camp On Blood Island

I may have posted this before, I can't remember, but what the hell, it is very, very.

Ender's Game

Re-read this recently. Everybody should be made to read it. Believe me, it's worth it.

Zelazny

Just finished reading these two puppies that Lurcharino leant me. Good stuff indeed.

The Shadow

Haven't posted many books lately, have been straying from the Righteous Path, so here's some of my The Shadow collection that seems to have escaped storage.
