Ant Holocaust

Well now, been over on Kid Moth (sadly now metamorphosed back into Kid Shirt human form) a few times and have desperately scoured my recently de-boxed book collection to find something moth related. But nothing, not one single moth inspired piece of literature.
So...I'm going Ants instead...they grow bigger and are, er, frighteninger.
Except for Mothra. I don't think any size ant could seriously fuck with Mothra.

Ilfracombe

Holy Crud...been moving house, and what a bitch that is. We're still up to our ass hairs in boxes that are full of stuff we don't want & don't know where to put. And we're now living in Ilfracombe...which has turned out to be a technological black hole where fucking nothing works..no mobile phone coverage, only two channels on the telly..and apparently it takes three fucking weeks to switch broadband from one address to another.

Actually it turns out WW2 is still raging here...and the Nazis are winning. Who knew?

Top Ten Lousy Remakes

#01 - The Manchurian Candidate (2004). Good Actors In A Shit Film.

#02 - Cape Fear (1991) - The Ending Just Misses The Whole Point.

#03 - Assault On Precinct 13 (2005) Why? What Was The Point?

#04 - King Kong (2005) - Overblown, Boring. Not A Patch On The 1976 Version That It's Clearly Based On.
#05 - Th Fog (2005) - Just Really, Really Dull.
#06 - Payback (1999). Truly Awful Remake of Point Blank In Which Mel Gibson, As Usual, Refuses To Be Shown In A Bad Light - Which Kind Of Makes The Whole Thing Pointless.
#07 - Planet Of The Apes (1999). A 'Re-Imagining'. I Don't Fucking Think So.

#08 - Get Carter (2000) So Bad It's Almost Worth Recommending.

#09 - Piranha (1995) Chickens Out Of The Original's Kiddie Massacre.
#10 - Rollerball (2002) Honestly, One Of The Worst Films I've Ever Seen.

I shall be off line for a few days, moving house and attempting to stay calm.
I leave you with my Top Ten Shit Remakes....guess what they all are, give me your own suggestions, agree or disagree....I shall expect to retun here and find hundreds of comments and the winner will get, well, my highest respect.

Monday Afternoon In Barnstaple

A quiet moment in the maelstrom that is my life at present. Moving house again. Luckily we've barely taken anything out of the boxes since last time. There's a lot of stuff in the garage, though, and it's fucking jam-packed full of spiders. I can't go in there so we may have to just leave it all.
I'm planning a rather cool kind of anti-Top Ten before I disapear for a while into the quagmire that is moving house.
